Lincora and Doris, I was so saddened to learn of the passing of your Mom and sister. The last time I saw Dora was at my Mom's (Martha Britt) visitation in 2011. She was such a pretty lady and the two of us discussed our families and how quickly time passes. Although Mom and Dora were first cousins, they were not really close but they were family. Aunt Letch was one of my favorite Aunts. My thoughts and prayers will be with the family during the coming days, weeks, and months ahead as you adjust to life without her. Just know that she is in a better place and will always be in your heartd.

Lindora, So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Mother. I always enjoyed being in her presence. She was a caring person. My mother always looked forward to chatting with the sisters about their school days at Davis School and attending church at Oakgrove. She will be missed by all who knew her. God bless and keep you close during this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lindora: I was so sorry to hear today of the passing of your mother. I remember her as always having a happy pleasant smile and genuine interest in the welfare of others. She was a part of the "mother's club" that made up our many years of school together and was such an asset to the community. I will be thinking of you in the days to come but know that you can look back on your mother's legacy with great love and admiration for the wonderful person that she was. Lindora, I am sorry we were unable to attend your sweet mother's service as we had out-of-town company. I loved Dora! She always wanted to know about my children and grandchildren and was always so cheerful with a smile on her face. God bless you and give you comfort and peace in the days ahead.
