I was so sorry to hear of Roy's death. I had a good visit with him on June 11 at the sale. He fought a hard fight. I shall always remember the help that he gave to my mother and me about selling our cows. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Allen. Sonya and the rest of the family . I have been praying and will continue to do so . Roy was mighty good to me growing up and Allen I am so glad you did the get together at the stockyard. Roy and I talked about horse racing who he bet on for the last leg of the triple crown . It was a sweet conversation. May God grant you peace . Hope he takes a minute in heaven to ride Cody .

My deepest condolences to Roy's family. He truly treated me as his daughter throughout my high school & early college years as we traveled the southeast showing horses. There's wasn't a weekend that didn't find me, Roy, Wendell, & Allen together riding/showing. These were truly great years that will forever be etched in my mind. He helped model me into the responsible individual I am today through encouragement & support and always encouraged me to try my best. He recognized my true love for horses and did his best to foster this passion, which continues to this day. I always respected & loved him for his contribution in my life. I pray God will touch the hearts' of his family members and bring comfort and healing. We can find peace knowing Roy is no longer enduring the earthly pain that had became a normal part of his life for the past several years. Love to all, Susan

To the entire Wiggins family, I am so sorry to hear about Roy's passing. Unfortunately, I am just now finding out about it. I was on my Honeymoon in Oregon when he passed and no one told me when I returned. Mama's short-term memory isn't what it used to be either, so she doesn't keep me up to date like she used to. The Branch and Wiggins families go back a long way. It seems like just yesterday, we were all running around First Baptist Church and going to school together.
