PHYLLIS J. (MAYFIELD) BALDRIDGE, 85, a resident at Linden Ponds in Hingham for the past 5 years, died on Sunday, Jan. 30th, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kansas City, MO. and was raised in Independence, MO. Before coming to Hingham, Mrs. Baldridge was a resident of Wilbraham, MA for 40 years where she was an active member of the Wilbraham United Church. She was an accomplished artist and was very involved in the art community at Linden Ponds and as a 'Spectal Artist' received many awards. In addition, Mrs. Baldridge was the executive secretary and needlework designer for the Janlynn Corp in Indian Orchard, MA. She spent the last 15 winters in Apache Junction, AZ where she and her family enjoyed many happy "get togethers."
She was the wife of the late Lawrence C. Baldridge and the late Donald B. Baldridge. Mother of Donna Elaine Mack and her husband Gary Dilworth of San Diego, CA., Joyce Eileen Tugel and her husband Michael of Barrington, NH, Lisa Baldridge Fiascone and her husband John of Hingham and Brian Douglas Baldridge and his wife Joanne of Brimfield, MA. Grandmother of Tyler W. Mack, Alyssa K. Stone, Allison L. Friend-Gray, Stephen J., Peter J. and Thomas B. Fiascone. Great Grandmother of Emeline and Cadence Friend-Gray. Also survived by her dear cousin, Mildred Ralls of Independence, MO.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 5th at 2 PM at The Derby Clubhouse at Linden Ponds. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Linden Ponds Benevolent Fund, 301 Linden Ponds Way, Hingham, MA 02043.
The interment is to be private.
