Fall River - Edgar R. Massey, 70, of Westport, passed away July 28, 2007 at St. Anne’s Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Marie E. (Rebello) Massey.
Born in Fall River, son of Marie L. (Gagnon) Massey of Royal Palm Beach, FL and the late Edgar L. Massey, he had been a lifelong resident of Westport. He had been employed by Montaup Electric Company in Somerset, as a mechanical maintenance man. He was a member of the Fall River Rod & Gun Club.
Including his wife & mother, he is survived by a son: Robert J. Massey of Westport; 2 daughters: Lisa Marie St. Martin of New Bedford and Kimberly Ann Dextraze of Westport; 3 brothers: Raymond Massey, Steven Massey and Ronald Massey all of Florida; 1 sister: Jean Garry of Florida; 9 grandchildren; a great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, August 1, 2007 from the Potter Funeral Home at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church, Westport at 9:00 A.M.
Calling hours Tuesday 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
