Deborah Ann Floyd, 54, of Fitzgerald, died Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Graveside services will be held 4 PM, Monday, October 4, 2010, at Ocilla Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Ruffin officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:30, Monday afternoon at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Floyd was born in Ocilla to the late Harvey G. and Irene Paul Brown Floyd. She enjoyed basket weaving, gospel music, bingo, Sunday school, parties and good food. She was of the Baptist faith. For many years she lived in Milledgeville and moved back to Fitzgerald in 2005.
Ms. Floyd is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Austin & Pearlie Floyd and Prentiss & Carolyn Brown, all of Fitzgerald; sisters-in-law: Barbara Brown and Louise Brown, all of Fitzgerald, as well as, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, T. Wiley and Jimmy Brown.
