Elizabeth “Betty Sue” Justice Lambert, 76, of Ball Ground, Georgia (formerly of Fitzgerald), died Saturday, September 11, 2010, at University Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday, September 14, in the Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. J.R. Holcomb officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until Noon on Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lambert was born June 27, 1934 in Fitzgerald to the late Lawrence Earl and Myrtice Whittle Justice. She was a 1952 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. She received her Associate Degree from Salem College and her degree in Biology from Duke University. She was retired board certified medical technologist for Dorminy Medical Center having worked in this medical field for over 50 years. She was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Mrs. Lambert was a member of the Baptist faith, former member of the Garden Club of Fitzgerald and the Pilot Club of Fitzgerald.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law: Mike & Susan Lambert of Chelsea, AL; daughter and son-in-law: Louisa & David Holcomb of Cumming; grandchildren: Kaitlyn Holcomb and Zach Holcomb of Cumming and Perri Lambert and Colby Lambert of Chelsea, AL; brother and sister-in-law: Larry & Lynda Justice of Martinez, CA, brother-in-law Dr. Stanley & Connie Lambert of Kennesaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Rev. Louis G. Lambert, Jr. on March 27, 2010.
