CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

"Come to me when you are weary," Jesus said. In his life on earth he healed and comforted multitudes of people. He supports us today. What did Jesus promise? Peace and refeshment for our souls. An answer for prayer. A great reward for the slightest thing we do for others. He promised guidance for life, bread for our hunger, a heavenly home. How can we be sure these promises will be fulfilled? Because God does not forget. God is truthful and will not change. God is powerful and will do what has been promised. He has been ever present in all of our lives and will give us comfort and rest. This he has given to Frank when he needed it most. He will also give comfort to all of the family as they ask of Him. I have many good memories of Frank that will always be with me; and he holds a special place within my heart.

The Lord’s Poem “I’ll lend you for a little while a child of mine,” he said, “For you to love while he lives, and mourn for when he’s dead.” “It may be three or seven years, or eighty-one or three . . . But will you – til I call him back Take care of him for me?” He’ll bring his charms to gladden you And should his stay be brief, You’ll have his lovely memories As solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay Since all from earth return, But there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn. I’ve looked the wide world over, In my search for teachers true, And from the throng that crowds life’s lanes I have selected you. Now will you give him all your love, Now think the labor vain? Nor hate me when I come to call And take him back again? I fancied that I heard them say, “Dear Lord, thy will be done” For all the joy the child will bring The risk of grief will run. “We’ll shelter him with tenderness, We’ll love him while we may And for the happiness we’ve known Forever, grateful stay But should the angels call for him Much sooner than we’d planned We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes, And try to understand . . . I am saddened to hear of Franks death. I will keep great memories of working with Frank at the Ford Place and also when he worked for me at The Shop. Several good fishing trips will also be remembered. He loved life and his family. My prayers are with all of you.
