Dear Family, We are so deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your loved one. We well remember her strong devotion to teaching us students to do our very best. She always stood nearby, with a caring, patient, guiding voice and and willing, helping hand. I was a student in her speech class and in several Thespian Club presentations and enjoyed every minute of it- all because of who she was and how she encouraged us. She made an everlasting impression in all her contributions to education, dear ol' Fitz-Hi, and the entire community of Fitzgerald as a whole. Our prayers are with all of you during this most difficult of times. May the very special memories you have of her provide you with the strength, support and courage to bear-up though the coming days..............and beyond.

Mr. Bill & family, we are so very sorry for your loss. I had the privilage of working with Mrs. Mickey in plays when I was younger. Also, in the last few years my family and I would eat wednesday night supper with my grandmother, Betty Redus, at First Baptist. Our 2 year old son, Gregory, just loved Mrs. Mickey. She would wear her necklace with a Mickey Mouse charm on it and have a good time playing with him. We also recently had a little girl, Laura Lee (6 months), and Mrs. Mickey would come over to our table and talk with her and comment on how beautiful she is. I will truly miss your mother as she was a wonderful lady that many people from Fitzgerald hold dear to their hearts. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Her work is a hallmark stamped in gold at Fitzgerald High School. Always personal beautifully humble, graceful, warm and confident. Note that the Drama Club which she taught is doing well this year and has won the region and competing at state on Nov. 5 in Warner Robins the same day as the funeral. We hold Mrs. Foreman dear. A true friend. May she rest in peace in Christ our Lord.

"little Bill" my heart is sad and yet filled with so many great memories. Mickey and Linda had such an impact on my life, especially the year that I lived with Linda & Roy. (learned to drink cokes in small bottles for breakfast and boiled egg sandwiches before cheerleading with Mr. Roy.) Took & picked you up from playschool for several of my high school years. Know that you are in my heart and in my prayers.

Bill, Mr. Bill, & Family, We are both shocked and sadened to learn of Miss Mickey's passing. I was at DAR with her Tuesday afternoon and she was the same as she always was: full of energy and spirit. She touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her. God was merciful in sparing her a long and painful illness. I lost my own father just about as quickly and without any more warning. Although I know you will miss her terribly, in time you will come to see a blessing in this. Hers was a life well-lived to the fullest. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that so many care and will be praying for you at this time. She is now with God, so find strength in Him.
