Anna L. (Marfongelli) Stanton age 85 of Salem, NH, died peacefully Thursday at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, Lawrence, MA, surrounded by her loving family
She was born in Salem, MA, where she grew up and attended schools. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 9 years, formerly of Salem, MA.
Mrs. Stanton worked at the Salem Laundry in Salem, MA. She was a member of the Salem, NH Senior Center, and a member of St. Mary Italian Church in Salem, MA.
Anna was a great cook and care giver. She enjoyed singing and sang at the USO shows in Scully Square in Boston, MA. Most of all her family was everything to her.
She was predeceased by her husband Clarence E. Stanton
She is survived by her Son: Brian E. Sr. & his wife Patricia Stanton of Salem, NH
Daughter: Kathleen & her husband Condall Clegg of Texas
4 Grandchildren: Brian E. Stanton Jr., Kyle Stanton, Nathan Stanton, &
Baylen Clegg

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 22 at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew’s Church, Windham, NH. Cremation Will Follow.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 21 from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
