Kathleen M. (Doucette) Paul, 71, of Salem, NH died Wednesday, Dec. 4th at her home.
Kathy was born and educated in Maine. She was a jack of all trades and she was a hard worker. She was a second Mom to her 9 siblings, helping to raise them. She was a self employed caterer and cake decorator. Kathy went back to college in her sixties, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Franklin Pierce University. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, knitting, music and listening to the harmonica. She played the organ and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Ron Paul.
She is survived by her 4 children, Brenda and husband Scott Anderson of Salem, NH, Christine Felix of Lawrence, MA, Dalton Marin of Salem, NH and Tara and husband Herman Rice of Salem, NH; 3 stepchildren, Ron Paul Jr. and wife Daphne of Kennebunk, ME, Suzanne and husband Steve Nason of Kennebunk, ME and Waunetta and husband Kenneth Wakefield of Sanford, ME, 4 brothers, Richard Doucette of Bangor, ME, Robert Doucette and Michael Doucette of Lisbon Falls, ME and Steve Doucette of Van Buren, ME, 2 sisters, Marie Gagnon of Raymond, NH and Debbie Gagnon of Grand Falls, New Brunswick; 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews,
Calling hours will be Sunday, Dec. 8th from 2-6 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
