Grace M. (Chiasson) Bourque, 98, of Salem, NH, previously of Lynn, MA died Saturday, March 16th at Warde Health Center in Windham, NH.
Grace was born and educated in Margaree Forks, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She was the last surviving child of 19 children, born to the late Louise and Norie Chiasson. Grace worked at Sears for many years. She enjoyed bingo and trips to Foxwoods, dancing and she was an avid Red Sox Fan.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter Bourque and her daughter Sylvia Murphy.
Grace is survived by her children, Gerard Bourque and his wife Julie of Seffner, FL, Verna and her husband Larry Belair of Salem, NH, Ethel and her husband George DiPace of E. Hampstead, NH, and Claudette and her husband Joseph Grivois of Manchester, NH; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 21st at 11AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence, Rd., Salem, NH. Services are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
