Evelyn P. (Lewando) Waterhouse, 89, of Salem, NH died Wednesday, November 28th at Methuen Health & Rehab.
Evelyn was born and educated in South Boston, MA the son of the late Catherine (Coughlin) and Felix Lewando. She graduated from Boston University and taught business courses at Salem High School. Evelyn was a member of St. Joseph Church, and the Salem Women’s Contemporary Club. She enjoyed knitting, golf, cooking and boating.
She was predeceased by her husband William Waterhouse and her siblings Edward, Alfred, Catherine Roth, Vincent and Richard.
She is survived by her children, William Waterhouse, Jr. and wife Sally of Lincoln, NH;
Robert Waterhouse and wife Nancy of Haverhill, MA;
Linda and husband Robert Karewa of Seekonk, MA;
her sisters in law, Claire Simensen of Salem, NH and Barbara Waterhouse of Hampton, NH;
3 grandchildren, Will, Tyler and wife LuLu and Amy;
1 great grandson, Bode Lu and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9:00 – 10:30AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery.
