Marshalka, Paul of Marshfield, passed away on June 4, 2013 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Mary Marshalka. Loving father of Paul “PJ” Marshalka Jr. of Marshfield and Michael Marshalka of Pittsburgh. Son of Mary Marshalka of Walpole and the late Bernard Marshalka. Dear brother of Peter Marshalka of Canton, Susan Eichinger of Plymouth, David Marshalka of Fall River and Andrew Marshalka of Scituate. Dear Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Son in law of Mary and Joe Vallely of Palm Coast, FL. Brother in law of David Vallely, Liam Vallely, Patricia O’Connor, Gerry Popovich and Monica Nowicky. Paul graduated from Canton High School, Class of 1972 and Northeastern University. He was Assistant Vice President and a Commercial Appraiser at Rockland Trust Bank. Paul was a member of the Marshfield Elks. He was the announcer for Marshfield Youth Football for many years and coached various sports in town.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, June 10 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St. at 10:00 a.m.
Interment in Couch Cemetery.
