Saggese, Sr. Beloved mother of Charles Saggese and his partner Richard Stoner of Derry, New Hampshire, Gary Saggese and his wife Laurice of Saugus, Karen Moschella and her husband Mark of Chelsea and the late Louis R. Saggese. Loving daughter of the late Charles and Amelia Sarni. Loving sister of Domenic Sarni of California, Louise Sarni of Derry, New Hampshire, Theresa Picciotto of Tewksbury, Margaret Parisi of Malden, Dolores Howard of Billerica and the late Pasquale and Rocco Sarni. Cherished grandmother of Mark and Brianna Moschella and Taylor Saggese. Also loving survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Saturday morning, June 17 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols Street, CHELSEA at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Friday from 3-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
At 82 years, Stella passed away at the transitional care unit of the Whidden Memorial Hospital shortly before 3:30 last Wednesday afternoon surrounded by her devoted family. A lifelong Chelsea resident, she worked at White Tower in Chelsea Square and American Optical.
