CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Shields in my workplace in Dedham Ma, where he was staying for recovery. I remember the first time I met him, he was going through some tough recovery but yet he was always was so positive and happy. He’s the kind of man that everyone loved, so full of life and a heart of gold. He always insisted on giving me a tip even thought he knew it wasn’t allowed, he was beyond generous around the holiday times giving myself and another co-worker a tip just as a thank you for our hard work there, when he knew he didn’t have to. That’s the kind kind of man he was Every time he came down for his frap and hot dogs, he always asked for it extra thick with chocolate sauce, and two franks a special way. That’s what he always ordered. He was a very smart man, from the short conversations I had with him, he always had something good to talk about even though I could tell he was lonely and having a hard day. It always brightened up my day seeing him come all the way down from the RSU to the cafeteria for his usual lunch, and when he didn’t show up then we worried if he was ok. He would come down the same time every week on the dot with a big smile on his face. I just wish I had the opportunity to say goodbye to him before he passsed away. He was a very special man,and therefore has a special place in my heart. He is a reminder to always think positive even through the hard times in life. My deepest condolences to his family, for the loss of my friend Warren. Sincerely, Rebecca K
