Dear Casey Family - I am so saddened to learn of this. I always enjoyed my interaction with Steve and his cheery attitude. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Bob/Coach

To the Casey family, I never knew Steve but was classmates and good friends with Chris back at BC High. In our 4 years together at BC High, Chris was always a man of excellence and compassion. He was an amazing classmate and someone I am proud to call a brother. While I did not know Steve, I can attribute the positive qualities of Chris that enhanced the BC High community as the same qualities and lessons he learned from his father. I wish the family strength during this tough time and know that you are in my prayers. With heartfelt sympathy, Moses O. Adubi, BCH '11

Dear Casey Family, I was lucky enough to be a classmate of Steve's at BC High. We were in the same homeroom (M-17) freshman year which meant we had every class together. In a room full of boys/ young men, Steve stood out as a gentleman. I have met Steve over the years in work settings. He never changed. The world is a better place because he was a part of it. Steve will be in the prayers of many people that he impacted. Best regards, Bill Campbell

Dear Judy & family, I had the privilege to be Steve's friend & classmate in high school, college, and many years post grad. We golfed many rounds, served in BC student government where he was my mentor as Treasurer, teamed where he was an excellent center fielder when we won the summer softball championship for UGBC, and had a blast as BC summer roommates between junior/senior year. We spent time at the Casey Cape house, hit the Boston scene, and you celebrated at our wedding. I so regret not remaining closer but when we moved to California, the distance, careers, and our families would capture time. I will always remember his cheerful demeanor, ever positive attitude, and best sense of humor. We shared many laughs, fun moments, career stories, and his unselfish willingness to support made him a truly special person and I'm honored to say, true friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with Steve and your family.

Dear Casey family, I am blessed to have grown up across the street from Stephen, Elaine, and Mr. and Mrs. Casey. Each was kind in their own unique way. I am so grateful. So many days of playing whiffle ball with Stephen in his driveway or playing together with Laddie (the Casey's dog). May you rest in peace.
