I am the granddaughter of Anna and Sando Giovannucci of Mattapan. My parents were Mary and Panfilo Tartaglini and we lived on Greenfield Road around the corner from my great uncle Joe, the Boston cop. As a child, I remember visits to that house as the family was close. I remember Aunt Ellen's lovely face - and how she let me (this was when I was younger than eight- we moved to CA after then) play her piano on the back porch or offer me something sweet. I liked her so much and the three girls were good friends with my mother. I am now 70, both parents gone, and these memories are precious. My heartfelt sympathy.
