Mary was a caring, generous and thoughful friend to me at Umass. She once gave me a beautiful glass Christmas ornament that reminds me of her as it shines on my Christmas tree each year.Posted: 11/15/2017 by Carla White of McLean, Va, USA Mary was one of my dearest friends. She will always be in my heart. So sorry for your loss. The world is a sadder place. Love to all of you.Posted: 11/15/2017 by Chris Giles of Nashua, NH, USA To the Handley Family,
As you know I met Betsey while living in Alice's upstairs apartment. What a devoted daughter, sister and aunt she was. She even loved my own nieces and nephews and little Ian always called her "Bitsey". I am so sorry for your loss and she will always hold a special place in my heart. Love to all!
Jane StapletonPosted: 11/17/2017 by Jane stapleton of Milton, Ma, Usa Mary loved owls. “When the owl sings, the night is silent.” Her wisdom, her humor, her joyous love of life will eventually pierce this all too silent night for those of us who mourn her today.Posted: 11/17/2017 by Sandy Bertman of Newton, MA, USA
