Mary was a caring, generous and thoughful friend to me at Umass. She once gave me a beautiful glass Christmas ornament that reminds me of her as it shines on my Christmas tree each year.

To the Handley Family, As you know I met Betsey while living in Alice's upstairs apartment. What a devoted daughter, sister and aunt she was. She even loved my own nieces and nephews and little Ian always called her "Bitsey". I am so sorry for your loss and she will always hold a special place in my heart. Love to all! Jane Stapleton
