Jack, I will never listen to "Hey Jude" without thinking of you. You embodied what was best in a man, son, husband, and father. I am proud to call you cousin. Memories are reflections of time, and your family will cherish them all with tears and laughter. May your soul be with your family in God.

My deepest sympathies to Jacks' immediate family, siblings, and all who knew Jack. My fondest memories of Jack surround summers in Tyngsboro as a kid, and the times I got to spend with the Freeman clan, always very enjoyable, and Jack taking me waterskiing. He was always kind to me and patient. Later in life I enjoyed talks with Jack about military service and flying. I remember Jack being very kind with my parents and how much my Father enjoyed the tour of Jacks ship, all good stuff!! I will forever admire your strenght of character and physical and moral courage displayed by you in being present last week at my Fathers mass! God Bless You!! When your children adore and repect you, and go the extra measure to comfort you in times of need and the good times, its says more anout you than mere words could ever capture.I will miss you Jack. Rest in Peace LCDR Jacky Freeman.

Our sincere sympathy to the Freeman family from the Carey family for the loss of your husband, father, brother, uncle, friend. I've known Jack for about 50 years and have loved the times we spent together in the summer as kids on Lake Masscuppic and as parents of children lucky enough to grow up in the quiet town of Tyngsboro. He was always a positive, encouraging supporter of any child or adult who was unsure of their decision in any endeavor whether it be athletics, academics, work, personal relationships, or anything that was on their mind. He will always be remembered as a good friend, a firm believer in his religion, a lover of athletics, a fond lover of his family, and just a real good man!

Maureen and family: My deepest condolences in your loss of Jack. I served with him as an Instructor at SWOS in Newport back in the mid-late 80's. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the services for Jack as I was in New Jersey for the wake and funeral services of my nephew who was killed in a car accident the weekend before. Otherwise, I would have attended. I have many great memories of Jack at SWOS. He was always the easy going guy that every student loved as an Instructor in Combat Systems. Talk about an avid sports fan...especially for the Boston teams...we definitely had something in common. HA! My sincere sympathy in your loss.

Jack, I'm so glad I stopped by Tyngsboro a few years ago and had a couple of beers with you at the waterfront. You were always so friendly and engaging, one of my favorite cousins. The pain of loss in your children's faces was clearly visible and hard to watch, but their love and devotion to their father in his time of need was a beautiful thing to witness. What an amazing family, how proud you must have been. I not only believe you are in a good place, but that you were greeted by familiar faces. You were in my thoughts today!
