01/05/2010 Paul Kellyp.email@example.com Mansfield, MA, USA Pat, this is Meaghan Peterson's father, Paul Kelly. Meaghan asked me to look at your mother's obituary since Linda and I both grew up in Jamaica Plain, went to Blessed Sacrament and were married in that church.
As a boy, my 5 brothers and I were altar boys. Many times I would go to the rectory to deliver items or help the priest in some way. Little did I know, that the lovely lady who was always there was your mother. I knew her simply as Helen. Even as a kid, I had no doubt that she was extremely efficient. You just knew she was the boss and do what she said!
Linda and I send our condolences and remember your mother as a person who was a part of our great memories of Blessed Sacrament parish.

01/03/2010 Judith LinLin, Judith C.,M.D. Boston, Ma, Dr Lin was Nana's Hermatology Doctor at Brigham and Women's Hospital
Dear Mr and Mrs Sweeney,
I am so sorry to hear the news of your mother's passing. When Paula forwarded
your email on Thursday I was out of my office and was surprised to learn your
mother had advanced to hospice care.
When I learnedI that I had hoped to visit her upon my return as I was already
out of town on Thursday.
Your mother was a lovely woman who cherished her family. Knowing how devoted
you are, I am sure she was a wonderful mother. It was a privilege to know and
care for her. I truly had hoped to help her more.
I know this must be a deep loss for you. You and your family are in my prayers.
01/03/2010 Cyndi Nugentcwnugent@consolidated.net Katy, TX, USa I was blessed to meet Helen and the rest of the Nugents in 1972 and became a member of the family shortly thereafter. She was not then well traveled and did not know what to make of the "strange Mississippi" girl her son, Paul, wanted to marry, but the next 37 years formed a very strong, loving relationship that will endure forever. I am so very proud that she knew our fine sons, Brad and Ryan, more than many of her grandchildren although separated by many miles. She is not famous nor rich nor will you find her name in history books, but she left behind a rich legacy and will be forever in my heart.
01/03/2010 Suzi Sweeneysweeney.email@example.com Quincy, MA, Nana - you were not only my Nana, but you were my friend. I will never forget the times when you pushed me up the stairs and taught me how to tie my shoes or my week long slumber parties at your house when I could stay up past my bedtime. I love you, Nana. Bye for now.
P.S. Juli and I will keep getting our scratch tickets, maybe we'll get lucky one day...
01/03/2010 Pat & LisaPLNuge5@aol.com , , God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
