I worked with Walt for several years at IAREC. He was always cheerful and helpful and a pleasure to work with. I always admired him for his upbeat attitude. Those were the years when IAREC was a pleasant place to work and he helped make it so. After he retired I would run into him often at yard sales and we would kid each other about acquiring more stuff. I'm glad I was able to know him.
