Alexander L. Saro of Stoneham, July 4, 2012 at age 90. Beloved husband of the late Violet (Cassery) Saro. Devoted fahter of Pam Feela and her husband Rick formerly of Stoneham, Robert Saro and his wife Helen of Stoneham and the late Nancy Hersey and her surviving spouse Tom of Somerville. Cherished grandfather of Robert and Jamie-Lee Hersey, Hannah Saro, Matthew Feela, Amanda Lewis and her husband Raymond. Cherished great grandfather of Madelyn Lewis. Dear brother of the late James, Arthur, Costa and Lenora. US Army Veteran, WWII. A Funeral Service celebrating Alexander’s Life will be held on Saturday at 12 pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Saturday from 10 am – 12 pm in the Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
