Margaret A. “Peggy” (Fino) Roberts of Reading passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Winchester Hospital. She was 79 years of age.
Born in Everett, Peggy was the loving daughter of the late Francis Fino and Doris (Mank) Fino. Peggy was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Peggy was a lifelong resident of Reading. She was a graduate of the class of 1952 at Reading High School. Peggy worked for MassBank and The Town of Reading at Town Hall. She enjoyed planning class reunions and volunteering for Reading Elder Services and for Town Elections.
Peggy was the beloved mother of Steven Roberts and his wife Sandra of Reading, Michael Roberts and his wife Amelia of Wilmington, Chris Roberts of Reading and the late Darlene Roberts. She was the cherished grandmother of Heather Lisano and her husband William of Billerica, Steven Roberts and Jen Roberts, both of Reading, Devin Roberts of Wilmington. Peggy was the loving great grandmother of Ella Lisano. She was the dear sister of the late Francis Fino and John Fino. Peggy was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Peggy’s Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
