Died at home on July 29, 2012. Preceded in death by mother June and sister Leanne. Survived by wife of 27 years Darlene; children Ron Liljedahl, Tracy (Stan) Riley, John (Sue) Liljedahl, Vance (Kyle) Liljedahl, Steve (Michelle) Heifort, Kari (Josh) Fredrickson and Julie Liljedahl (John Beard); 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; father Donald "Dinny"; brothers Denis (Charlene) and Brian (Lynn); special friends Dennis Campbell & Steve Kircher, other family and friends. Proud member of the JFD's. Gary was a boiler tender in the Navy, driver with Consolidated Freightways for 27 years and member of Teamster Local #120. Memorial Service Friday (8/3) at 11:00 AM at GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1730 Old Hudson Road. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorial visitation Thursday 4-8:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and one hour before the service at church on Friday.
