Myrna Lopez Boria, age 45, a longtime Framingham resident, died surrounded by her family on Wednesday afternoon, April 25, 2012, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Edwin Boria.
Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, on October 18, 1966, she was the daughter of Maria Luisa Llane Santiago of Puerto Rico and Angel Manuel Lopez Rosario of Framingham. She was a 1985 graduate of Keefe Regional Technical School and continued her education at Blaine Beauty School.
Myrna was employed in the Framingham area as a beautician prior to settling in Kissimmee, FL, twelve years ago. While in Florida Myrna worked as a salesperson at Babies R Us and enjoyed time spent volunteering at the Estrella de la Manana Church of Orlando. Very much focused on her family and her faith, Myrna was also a member of New Destiny Christian Center. She and Edwin returned to Framingham three months ago.
Predeceased by a son, Antonio Gonzalez in 2001, she is additionally survived by three sons, Orlando Gonzalez of Marlborough, and Angel Rodriguez, Jr. and Stephen Rodriguez both of Framingham, and a large and loving extended family.
Her service will be held at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Natick, on Saturday, Apr. 28th at 10:00a.m. A private burial is planned.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, 5 – 8p.m.
