Mrs. Fannie Mae Burkett, age 96, West Green, GA, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Burkett was born on May 3, 1914 to the late John M. And Emma Martin Burkett. Mrs. Burkett was the widow of Printis Burkett and she was preceded in death by son: Glen Wyatt Burkett, Sr., granddaughter: Tracy Lynn Kirkland and brother: Rev. Bill Burkett. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Burkett Baptist Church in West Green, GA, with burial following in the Burkett Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include: son: Printis Wayne (Mollie) Burkett, Sr., West Green, GA; sister: Vestal Files, Douglas, GA; grandsons: Printis Wayne Burkett, Jr., West Green, GA; Thomas Wade (Wanda) Burkett, Douglas, GA; Glenn Wyatt (Brianne) Burkett, Ambrose, GA; great grandchildren: Samantha (Trey) Burkett Veal, Marissa (Chris) Shelton, Loren Burkett; special daughters: Jean (Bobby) Byrd, Joyce Burkett (Wayne) Musick; special grandchildren: Robert Byrd, Sandee (Jeff) Sparks, Scott (Lynn) Johnson, Tanya (Buddy) Stevens; Ann (Gary) Coleman; Keith (Denise) Burkett; Doris (Sammy Daryl) Wooten; 4 great great grandchildren.
