"Boogie"James Ronald Corbitt, SR age 66 of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, July 13,2013 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Corbitt was born on Setpember 4, 1946 to the late Steve Daniel and Mary Grace Wright Corbitt.
Survivors include his wife: Gladys Corbitt of Douglas, GA; three sons: James Ronald (Lovey) Corbitt, Jr; James Wesley (Marie) Corbitt and Bobby Lee (Brandi) Steverson; one daughter: Melissa Ann (Tracy) Newell all of Douglas, GA. one brother: Wendal Corbitt, Douglas, GA.; seven sisters:Fannie Ruth Trowell, Baxley, Angela Christopher, Pearson, GA; Jeanette Deaton, Betty Lott, Gail Kirkland all of West Green, GA; Glenda Smith and Linda Batten both of Douglas, GA; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Calvary Full Gospel Tebernacle Cemetery West Green, GA.
