J.T. Troupe, age 86, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2013. Mr. Troupe was born on December 9, 1926, in Ocilla, GA to the late John Thomas Troupe and Mary Elizabeth Swails Troupe.
Survivors include: his wife: Gail Troupe of Nicholls, GA, five daughters: Melissa Troupe, Sabrina Troupe, Tonya Troupe, Marissa (Scott) Troupe all of Nicholls, GA, and Brandy (James) Gillis of Douglas, GA, son: Jimmy Troupe of Douglas, GA, thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and seven sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 5-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Church with Rev. David Bowen, Rev. Melvin Burch and Rev. Tommy James officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery.
