Oliver Francis Williams, age 82, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Williams was born on October 25, 1930, in Douglas, GA to the late Oliver Williams and Miriam Fussell Williams.
Survivors include: his wife: Lillian Williams of Nicholls, GA, two sons: Francis Michael (Dana) Williams and Gary Morris (Elizabeth) Williams both of Douglas, GA, sister: Sally W. Meeks of Baldwin, FL six grandchildren: Josh Williams, Andrew Williams, Joel Williams, Michelle Gurley, Carol Janitz, Leigh McQuaig, seven great grandchildren including Ryan White and Reid White, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers: EW “Corny” Williams and Fussell Williams, and a granddaughter: Amber Barrett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 5-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Roxy Mae Church Cemetery.
