Obituary

Richard "Keith" Moore, age 57, of Douglas, GA passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 2, 2013, after an extended illness. Mr. Moore was born in Douglas, GA on April 06, 1955 to Maxine Winters Moore and the late John Moore.

Survivors include: Wife: Patsy Ann Brantley Moore, Douglas, GA; Mother: Maxine W. Moore, Douglas, GA; 3 daughters: Becky (Mark) Elliott, Guyton,GA; Kelly (Kevin) Gilliard, Broxton, GA; Kady (Jake) Stewart, Douglas, GA; 1 Son: Nathan Moore, Douglas, GA; 4 grandchildren: Luke Elliott, Anna Elliott, Kylee Brooke Gilliard, Landon Stewart; 1 Brother: Roy (Diane) Moore, Ambrose, GA; 1 sister: Marian (Billy) Mizell, Douglas, GA; sister-in-law: Judy (Allen) Vickers, Douglas, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at West Ward St. Church of God with Rev. Brett Peavey and Rev. John Carver officiating. The Eulogy will be delivered by Judy Vickers. Music will be furnished by Derick Soles, "Amazing Grace My Chains are Gone"; Derick Soles leading Congregation in "How Great Thou Art" with Scott Bryant as pianist. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery with Shanda Jowers singing "Go Rest High On That Mountain".

Honorary Pallbearers will be: "Special Friends" of Nathan Moore,; Clayton Mathis, Jeanine Dovers, Sammy Lastinger, Joel Parrish, Johnny Rozar, Terry Harrell, Van Grantham, Ben Munford, Bonwell Royal, Bruce Cato, John Carver, Wayne Meeler, Bunny Grantham, Marcus Dunlap, Mark Smith, Mickey Jowers, Michael Thomas, Anthony Youngblood, Leo Gilliard, Jack Harper, Richard Wilson, Rudolph Dobbs, Rufus Hutcheson, Terry McClendon, Tobby Gale, Wayne Grantham, Doyle Wooten, Joe White, Scotty Souther, Greg Chancey, Gene Wade, Dr. Mark Brulte, Bethany Hospices nurses: Jeanine Cliett, Allison Brice and Heather Day.
