Richard H. "DICK" Worrell, age 80, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Worrell was born on October 5, 1932 to Richard Howard Worrell, Sr and Doris Binkley Worrell.
Surrivors: Wife JoAnn Wear Worrell; Two sons: Dennis (Judi) Worrell of Douglas, GA and Jon Worrell of Costa Rica; Two Daughters: Pamela (Greg) Lewis and Denise Purvis, both of Douglas, GA. Thirteen Grandchildren: Meghan Lewis, Rhett Lewis, Christopher Purvis, Jared Purvis, Alison Drew, Amelia Worrell, Alexis Worrell, Patrick Worrell, Chris Worrell, Jared Wood, Sara Wood, Jamie McDaniel and Ryan McDaniel and Six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held, Monday, December 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church with interment at Douglas City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
