Dakota Shane “Speedy” Porter, age 16, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA following a brief illness. Mr. Porter was born on May 23, 1996, in Douglas, GA to Gena Porter Becerra and Filiberto Becerra.
Mr. Porter is survived by: his mother, Gena Porter Becerra, of Douglas, GA: his father, Filiberto Becerra, of Douglas, GA: two brothers, Cody Boyd Porter and Dereck Shawn Porter, both of Douglas, GA: one sister, Santana Nicole Porter, of Douglas, GA; grandfather, Gene Porter, of Douglas, GA; grandmother, Santana Becerra, of Mexico; and uncle, Nicky Porter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6-9.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11 :00 a.m. at Harvest time Church of God with Rev. Toby Gale, Rev. Bobby Pope, and Rev. Ed Burch officiating. Interment followed at Roxie Mae Church Cemetery.
