Carl was my great uncle (I am Fred Johanson's granddaughter). I met Uncle Carl when he visited Fred's family in Jamestown, NY, and I remember him as a gentle, kind, soft-spoken man who dearly loved his family. I have no doubt that he, like his brother Fred, was the most wonderful grandfather. Sending my love and comfort to the whole family and to the dear friends who loved Carl. Sincerely, Lindsay

We have been neighbors for 54 years, Carl has been like father to me,helping me with many project around the house. I will remember the many Family get togethers we had. Carl was a great friend and I will miss him deeply.
