Tom, Bill, Steve and families, It sadden me to hear of uncle Tom's passing. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers. It is so hard to give up that last parent but knowing that there is no more suffering makes it easier. One of my fond memories is riding in the back of the old white truck on the road to the granny's place on the river. Every house we go by uncle Tom says hello the people in their yards in that deep voice. You can hear them say, "that was Tommy Crabtree". Your mom and dad gave me some great memories. I always looked so forward to seeing the Crabtree family each summer. Love you, Julie Watts Glenn

So many fond memories of Tom, and I'm probably one of the few who remember when Tom arrived in Massachusetts from Arkansas, his marriage to Myrtle, and the night Tommy, his first son was born. Tom and I used to regularly minister at Boston Rescue Missions ~ the first of which was located in old Scollay Square, where the Government Center now stands. Tom was a dedicated, loyal and devoted friend and leader, and there's no question countless numbers of us benefitted greatly from his touching our lives. We may grieve his loss now, but as he taught us so well, our hope and joy are in knowing we shall see him again one day. My sincere condolences and love to all Tom has left behind.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Tom. He was a terrific Sunday School Teacher at Wellesley Park. He made God and the Bible come to life. He was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him.

Tulsa and St Joe, OK and AR, USA

Tom was a dear family friend that created numerous fond memories for our families. His summer visits to AR with his family during 70's and 80's was something we always looked forward to. He had great stories to share about his life experiences growing up on the Buffalo River. It is a honor to have known Tom and Myrtle Crabtree. My condolences go out to his sons: Tommy, Billy and Stevie. My family and I love you guys.
