Bonnie,Ellie and Katie, I'm very sorry for your loss. Steve was my cousin, six years older than me. My dad was his Uncle Tom on his mother's side. I heard of his passing from my dad, who heard of it from Mike. I think it has been more than 45 years since I've seen either of them but it was nice to know that Steve was there in Concord, near my sister, Mary Sears,in Lexington. Wishing you comfort and peace, Bill

I am still in shock to have heard about Steve's passing. We worked together at Lincoln Laboratory for about 10 years from the mid 90's to the mid 2000's. Steve was always such a decent, kind person who gave all people respect and courtesy. He was very accomplished professionally, yet modest. It was allways very impressive to watch Steve in meetings because he typically thought through problems more than most people in the room. What he was saying was nearly almost allways right, insightful, and creative. This track record earned Steve a lot of technical and personal respect. He certainly had my admiration. I never met Bonnie but Steve talked to me about her quite frequently during thier dating and early marriage stages. He was so proud of thier daughters. Steve's face lit up whenever talking about them. May your journey be continuing in heaven my friend.
