Dearest Patrice, Patrick, and family of Gene Thornberg, Words cannot express how saddened we are after hearing of your loss. Gene was truly a wonderful man, and a respected employee. I am his supervisor at Brandeis Faculty Club, and he'll be forever missed. He was not only my employee, but I considered him a Great Friend. We had many long talks about all kinds of subjects. I am grateful to have had the last 3-years w/ him at Brandeis. I was blessed to call him a friend, and to have met Patrice personally. To Gene's friends and family: I am so sorry to learn that Gene has passed. I was fortunate enough to have had Gene as a student in my English class at Watertown High School. Oh my goodness, was soo very shocked to hear of Gene's passing!!!!! I grew up with h im and the whole Thornberg clan on Emil Ave in Oakville. Those were the days :) My deepest sympathies & sincerest thought are for all of you. Lori
