Jay, I was a long-time friend of your dad both at Raytheon Company and as a member of the Gideon's International. We enjoyed many, many times of fellowship over the years and he was a real encouragement to me. I will be praying for you, your wife, and sons as you mourn the passing of a dear man.

John Even though I just met you less then 2 years ago I think we became pretty good friends. I would look forward to seeing you at the Transfer Station. My sincere sympathies to John's family. John was a Raytheon retiree, WWII Veteran and an inspiration to all who he met. As the Veteran's Agent for the Town of Wayland, he made many strides to improving the way Veterans receive their benefits. His love of God was evident in all that he said and did. He was an honored guest at the Raytheon Veteran's Day observance in 2006, along with Gerry Halterman and William Gilmour. All served our country proudly. God bless you John in your eternal home.
