FALL RIVER … Gary W. Medeiros, 60, of Fall River died Monday, March 4, 2013.
He was the husband of Barbara A. (Hopkins) Medeiros of Fall River. They had been married for 32 years.
He was born in Fall River a son of Barbara (Gray) Cloutier of Portsmouth, RI and the late William Medeiros and step son of the late Ronald Cloutier and had lived in Fall River most of his life.
He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church, Fall River.
He was employed as a Truck driver with Cohenno Trucking Co. and Ryder Logistics retiring in 2005. He was also a welder supervisor for General Dynamics in Quincy for 13 years.
Mr. Medeiros was a 1971 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and former member of the Bristol County Corvette Club of Somerset, enjoyed motorcycles and cars. He served in the National Guard for 13 years.

Survivors include his wife and mother, 2 daughters Jodie Northrup and Hilarie Baron both of Fall River, a son James Henry Gallant, Jr and his wife Sandy of Westport, 2 sisters-in-law his hot tomato Katherine Hopkins and Ruth Farias and her husband Steven all of Fall River, a step brother Ronald Cloutier, Jr. and Rachel Cloutier both of New Bedford, 4 grandchildren: Dylan Mello, Carisa Northrup, Sara Northrup, Maximus Alexander Gallant, a nephew Steven Farias. He was brother of the late Clifford Medeiros. In Lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, Ma 02215.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 9AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepard Parish, South Main Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown, RI. Calling hours will be Friday 5 – 8 PM.
