Amy, I am so sorry for you and your families loss, no words or gestures can take the pain away. Now you feel lost but time does heal all wounds. You have concellation in knowing you were a great wife and caretaker that is all REY would have asked of you. Remember you will see him again so for now it is just so long. Keep your head up we all LOVE you and will be there for you. Liz Norton

Myrene...Each and every one of us are thinking about you and your family this week. Your dad fought his cancer with courage and spirit and although he lost that battle, he understood the love and support surrounding him the entire way through. Your family here in the NICU saw your courage and your spirit throughout his entire illness and thus, your dad lives on.

To Amy and the rest of the family, it was a blessing for my sister Tely and me to be with you all as Rene embarked on his journey to the New Jerusalem, our true Home. Rene treasured peace. He was gentle and had a big heart. He enjoyed helping less fortunate ones. Memories of summer in Santa Isabel with the quiet and sensible Rene never failed to remind me of the simple joys of childhood. He was tops in his role as a husband, father and grandfather. God took his hand and led him to our true Home. My heart is saddened by this loss - our deepest and most sincere sympathy to you all.

Our deepest sympathy to the Mendoza family. Dr. Rene Mendoza was a long time pediatrician of our children. He was such a nice person, a good friend, a wonderful father to his children and wife Amy. They will be in our prayers during this difficult time of sorrow. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Amy, Myrene, Chris, Marc, and the rest of the family, I am one with you in your sorrow over the loss of Rene, beloved husband, father, Lolo, friend, and a dear nephew. I cherish my last telephone chat with him, filled with chuckles as we reminisced about high school, Bulacan days and other events. What a blessing to be with you all on his last 3 precious days on earth before he crossed over to a new life where there is no more pain and sorrow. Rene spent his life loving and serving others - his family, extended family, friends, and many others in need. He had a generous spirit. He cheerfully, often quietly, shared his time, talent and resources without expecting anything in return. He is now held safe in the arms of the Father Who dearly loves us all. "Life here is only a whisper in time but our song will endure throughout eternity." The music of his life echoes now in our hearts and our loving memories of him will endure even with the passing of time. God keep you all in the palm of His hand.

Dear Amy and Family, We may have been physically present during your most difficult time, since we divide our vacation between Carson and San Diego as our children, reside, respectively. But, our thoughts and prayers are always with you from the day that we have learned of cousin Rene's infirmity. Know that your loss is also ours,as we fondly hold him in our hearts. We will lovingly remember Rene as the simple provincial young boy who believed, followed and achieved his dream, to treat the sick and serve the healthy and humanity. Receive our concern and affection, Yola (a.k.a Yolly), family and Oli

To the Mendoza Family, My heart and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. I know it has been awhile but I will always have fond memories of time spent at your home when I was a kid, and Tito was instrumental in making those memories ones that I still cherish. Love, Carlo

I am totally shocked. I had no idea he passed away. I worked with him at TruMed in Hyannis and when they closed at his new office in Hyannis
