Dear Ken and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. All my years living on York St.no matter when you saw her she always had a smile and hell-o,and jumping off into the side of the road to dodge the traffic each day never seem to discourage her from her daily walks. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed by many.May God Bless you all during this very sad time.

Ruthie was The Best! The kindest, most thoughtful and consistently caring friend. She prayed for my relatives whom she never met. I loved Ruthie.

I just heard the tragic news and just wanted to say how deeply sorry I am. I taught with Ruth at the JFK School.I always enjoyed talking to Ruth. She had a great zest for life! She was quite witty, funny, always had a yarn to tell, and usually spoke her mind!!! She was also very sincere and kind. She was the first teacher to comfort me after my mother had passed away.I am so grateful to have known such a wonderful and kind lady. My thoughts and prayers are with Ruth and her family during this very sad time.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Ruhie's death! I graduated with her from Girls' High School of Boston. I spent a summer working with her at the C Street Grill at Hampton Beach,N.H. We had so many laughs together. She truly was a joyful and loving spirit. I shall miss my dear friend!197108
