As patients of Dr. Hartman we will miss him dearly. Words cannot express how sad we are to hear this news. I have three children ages 18, 15 and 15 and he cared for them since the beginning. We are so grateful to have had such a caring, compassionate and dedicated doctor over the years. He was just a great person. All our best to Dr. Hartman's family.

To Dr. Hartman's family, I was so saddened to hear of Dr. Hartman's passing. I had been looking forward to his return at Harbor Medical. He had been our primary care doctor for my husband and myself for many years. Dr. Hartman was a wonderful man.He was the most compassionate and understanding doctor that I ever had. He took good care of me and my husband for many years. He was humble enough to attend the wake for my husband 4 years ago. That touched my heart. Mrs. Hartman and sons, you have my heartfelt condolences. You can be very proud of the life he led.

I am truly heart broken at the passing of Dr. Hartman. He'd been my physician at Harbor Medical for over 15 years and I felt that there was no one like him as a doctor. He always took the time to talk to you, and remembered my family and asked about them as well. He never rushed you out. I will miss him terribly. My condolences to his wife and children. They have truly lost a good man.

Ed was my primary care physician in Pembroke. He was always upbat and easy to relate to an older man like me. I will always remember a few years back, following an EKG test, Ed busted through the door of my exam room to exclaim the test was showing a fibulating heart. He was much more concerned about me than I was! He recommended, along with my cardiologist, a blood thinner to offset the condition, which I take today. I admire his quick action and knowledge and will always fondly remember him.

I knew Dr. Hartman since about 1998, he was a great guy and someone who I found easy to talk to and made me relax I am usually very nervous in a doctor's office. We are also fellow bass players and fans of rush and yes, it saddened me greatly to hear of his passing, Chris Squire passed in June of acute leukemia as well.
