I admired Chet for taking care of his Mother and sister, he did a terrific job. He loved skiing and anything to do with boats. Saying prayers for you, Chet, and your family. With love, Aunt Helen

Chet was greatly loved by us. Both Jenny Hurley and I enjoyed working with him over the years at West Marine. He was always helpful to my husband John with his boating needs and finding a way to expedite shipments of boat goods. Chet always thought of us whether, it was to help me promote my photography and was a faithful customer in my other sales jobs. He always looked out for Jenny and taught her about the boating business. He even mentored her and now she is studying accounting just as he had. Chet enjoyed being generous and always looking for any way to help others. He will be sorely missed by all of us, we all loved him greatly. We are thankful for having Chet in our lives. We pay for him and the Wentworth family during this difficult time. Loved by Deanna John and Jenny Hurley

An old friend gone too soon. I played hockey and softball with Chet for many years back in the '70's when we worked at the BPM in Canton. A lot of good times were shared in sport, and otherwise. RIP my old friend.

February 01, 2015 Worked with Chet for 2 years and I am beyond grateful for the opportunities he gave not only me but my friends family and coworkers as well. Always full of energy and always thoughtful. He has taught me many things I will remember for the rest of my life and for that I am thankful. Chet inspired me to go to college for a business related subject because he said I was a natural and I could not be happier. Wish I and many of the other co-workers could make it to the services but unfortunately a chunk of us are out of town. Thoughts and prayers go out to all friends family and fellow West Marine staff during this time. We were all blessed to meet such a wonderful person and the people upstairs are blessed to have him now. Rest in peace Chet we all miss and love you, I hope you are skiing the slopes of heaven. — Jennifer Hurley, Providence, Rhode Island - See more at: http://m.legacy.com/guestbooks/bostonglobe/guestbook.aspx?n=CHESTER-T-WENTWORTH&pid=174030942#sthash.0RQxkyBY.dpuf

Chet and I shared a passion for all things skiing. He taught me that being a skier was about the love of skiing and not about how well you skied or how much you skied. I will miss the sense of adventure that Chet brought to every ski trip.

Just found out about Chet's passing. I had the pleasure of going to high school and college with him. My husband met him at Stonehill. We were both in business and saw him regularly but lost touch with him over the years. We have fond memories of him. To his mother and sister, we are so sorry for your loss.
