Mon AM 8 Sept 2014 Hi Uncle Jimmy, Jim and Sue, Jill and Steve, Cathy, Patrick and Kelly, and Marie - The most vivid recollection I have of Aunty Kay is from a Thanksgiving that we celebrated together in Roslindale while your wife/mom was recovering from breast cancer (some time in the mid-to-late 80s, I think). I was just getting in from a muddy morning football game with the Popeos and I was a stinky, sweaty, dirty mess. As I walked in to the kitchen through the squeaky back door your mom was there to greet me. "Give me a kiss," she asked. "I'm a pig!" I replied. She didn't care. She kissed me, dirt and all, and hugged my stinky body with an embrace that I have since never forgotten. I think that just about sums up everything that Aunty Kay is to me. I can't help but wonder how Kay and Millie are catching up on things now. :) Paula and I wish you all God's peace today and this week. Know that our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Jim & Family: Kay was the most elegant, gracious woman I have ever met. From her years as a young mom with a perfect updo and ensemble ready for church to the more delicate woman of her later years, Kay was always warm and smiling. I have never forgotten her comfort on the day of my father's funeral. She lives on in our memories. Maureen & Jack

I never officially met Kay d'Entremont, but I feel as if I knew her well. Marie has shared so many amazing stories of her mother. She adores her and revels in the fact that she is so funny, kind, and loved by all. I'm positive that the apple didn't fall far from the tree. I've often pictured them as one in the same person. For every scene Marie described Kay in - I could picture Marie having the same reactions, laughter and smile. I know that every time I hear Marie's infectious, heartwarming laugh throughout the office - her mom will also be smiling and laughing right along.
