The world has lost a very special lady. The love and kindness of Susan Mcguffie-mcdonald, my dear sister-in-law who had such a generous heart and soul will be remembered, not just by me, but by so many. Her love of people and pets and those in need and her willingness to be there for anyone in need no matter what, will not be forgotten. Susan always saw the beauty in the world and shared that with us along with her compassion and wonderful sense of humor - lifting our spirits! Susan was like a sister to me. My eyes are full of tears and my heart is heavy at my loss of her. Heaven has gained angel but we have lost a loved one who was not only dear and sweet and an inspiration to us all but a truly special woman. RIP my dear Susan. You will be in hearts forever.

Rest in Peace my dear friend Susan. Will miss your silly messages to me and chatting on the phone. Had no idea a few days ago would be the last time we talked on the phone and laughed ourselves silly as usual. No matter what you went thru you were a trooper. See you on the other side one day....Just know you are enlivening the atmosphere in heaven today !!! Love and Peace.... Joy Lynn and Marilyn Racho. Oh and AnnaBelle too.

My condolences to your family. I can not tell you how much I miss this wonder humanitarian, humorist and social media friend. I have had so many good natured laughs and chats with Susan. I can not believe that I will never again hear about coyotes behind the yard or feral cats in the garage or see kitties and elephant on her Facebook page. I pray you are in a warm happy place with all your family and furry friends. Heaven was made for people just like you. All my love OX, Doris Winter Burke

I never had the pleasure of meeting Susan in person, but she was a terrific facebook friend. A warm and funny lady with a heart of gold. You will be missed.

To Dear Caitlan, Michael and Steve. May knowing that you are in the hearts of so many help you through this sorrow and know that Sue is in the peace and love of God and her Mom. I can not grasp this reality. She is still at home in Boston far from Detroit but still there in my mind's eye, but now she is missing! Her loving heart, so generously truly unconditional, her wit, her voice, so distinguishable. Her sensitivity and compassion for us and for her animals, now leaves us to flander. "When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight." ~Kahlil Gibran Sue loved Gibran when she was young. She was a honest-to-God true fiend.

The death of my sister has left me with a heavy heart. When I think of Sue, I marvel at her quick wit, her great brain that could remember most everything, and her compassion to all her feral cats she fed and kept warm all winter. I will certainly miss our phone chats we had over the years. I take some comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain and you are with our beloved mother in heaven. Until we meet again. Love You, Peggy To Steve, Caitlan, and Michael May God wrap His arms around you and keep you in His care.

Condolences to the McDonald family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says Jehovah God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

Sue was a unique person that anyone could ever be a friend to. It's been hard for me to bring myself to words of how sad we all learned of her passing. Will miss her concerns, conscience, humor, and wit. Thank you Sue for being a part of our lives. God bless you, Steve, Catlin, Michael all your family and friends.
