Mr. Douglas M. Millar IV
Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 29, 2012, Mr. Douglas Moose Millar IV “Doug”, 31, husband of Mrs. Amy Sturkey Millar.
Family members in addition to his wife include son: Nathan Robert Millar of Stockbridge, GA; parents: Doug and Cathy Millar of Augusta, GA; brothers: Ryan Sheehan Millar of Laos and William Benjamin Millar of Augusta; sister: Virginia Catherine Millar of Atlanta, GA; In-Laws: John and Sandra McMurdy; Maternal Grandparents: William and Maureen Hughes of North Augusta, SC; niece and nephew: Shelby and Kyle Edwards. Doug was preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents: Doug and Ginger Millar.
Doug was a native and life long resident the Augusta area. He attended Westside High School and worked at Richmond Supply Company. He attended Stevens Creek Church. Doug loved life, his wife, family, friends, GA Bulldogs and his dog Milli. He loved to make people laugh with his great sense of humor and infectious smile.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Stevens Creek Church with Dr. Martin Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hale House, 402 Walker Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
