Gladys M. (Donlon) Reardon of West Roxbury, passed away on September 23, 2010. She was 91 years old.
A life-long resident of West Roxbury, Gladys was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School. She and her husband James founded Reardon Electric Supply Co. Inc. of Roslindale. Gladys loved flower gardening, traveling with her husband, and telling wonderful stories. She was very knowledgeable about local history, having been born in West Roxbury and living there all of her life.
Gladys was the dear and devoted wife of the late James F. Reardon Sr. Loving mother of Jean Marie Roma and her husband John Richard of Arlington, Patricia Crede and her husband Alan of Westwood, and James F. Reardon Jr. and his wife Susan of West Roxbury. Cherished Grandmother “Mame” of Joy Lai, John J. Roma Capt. USMC, Jennifer Roma, Alan Crede, Christine Crede, Amy Marie Reardon and James P. “Jay” Reardon. Beloved Great Grandmother of Madeline and Matthew Roma.
Gladys' Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday September 27, 2010 at St. Theresa of Avila Church in West Roxbury. Contributions in Gladys’ memory may be made to the Church.
Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
