Obituary

James D. “Don” Brennan, of Hernando, FL, formerly of Salem, passed away on February 25, 2012. He was 70 years old. Don was an avid musician who composed music and played guitar with his band, Gold Fever. He worked as an aircraft inspector for General Electric for over 25 years. He was a parishioner of St. Raphael of Brooklyn Orthodox Church in Inverness, FL, where he sang in the choir and served on the parish council. Don was also a liason from the parish to the Resource Center, which provided assistance to the hungry, homeless and poor. Don also enjoyed playing sports and spending time with his family.

Don was the dear and devoted husband of Christina M. (Tartar). Dear brother of David Brennan and the late Daniel Brennan. Dear brother-in-law of Marilyn (Tartar) Robbat and her husband Michael of Winchester. Beloved uncle of Kristen Woollam and her husband Rob of North Reading, Stephanie Robbat of Winchester and Michelle Morgan and her husband Matt of Newton. Dear cousin of Nancy Pearce Endicott of Danvers.

Don's Funeral Service was held March 2, 2012 at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church 8 Inman St. Cambridge, MA.

Contributions in Don’s memory may be made to St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church or to St. Raphael Orthodox Church, 1277 N. Paul Dr. Inverness, FL 34453.

Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Boston.
