Obituary

On June 28, 2017 RICHARD J. TAYLOR, JR. passed away at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth L. Taylor, devoted father of Richard L. and wife Mary G. Taylor and Kathleen and husband David O. Hamilton, loving grandfather of Kristy T. Frick and Nicole T. Holcak and great-grandfather of Jack and Cooper Frick and Cameron Holcak.

Richard was a part of the Greatest Generation that served during WWII era. He not only served the nation, but the community as a Baltimore City Police Officer. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Choir, Knights of Columbus Cardinal Gibbons Council, and a member of the American Legion. His favorite pastimes were dancing and eating any recipe that contained Maryland Blue Crab.

Family and friends may call The Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral Home P.A., 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. (beltway exit 29B) on Thursday, July 5th from 4 to 7p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Baltimore Retired Police Benevolent Association, P.O. Box 6217 Baltimore, MD 21206.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 6th at 11a.m. in The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Loch Raven Blvd. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Nottinhgam, MD. A celebratory lunch will follow at Red Brick Station Restaurant and Brewery on the Avenue at White Marsh.
