Desmond Joseph Wheatley, 17, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 9, 2018.
He was a senior at Jeffersontown High School where he was a member of the Beta Club and was recently accepted to attend the University of Louisville. He enjoyed his CAD classes and listening to music, as well as producing many of his own arrangements. Desmond was quiet and shy, but was very caring and had a good heart.
He is survived by his parents, Tim and Fortina Wheatley; siblings, Sandra and William Wheatley; grandparents, Papaw and Nonie Wheatley and Cresenciano and Tomasa Lopez; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at 7pm Friday, March 16, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Visitation will begin Friday at 4 pm until time of service.
