Pickhart-Tribbey, Inge Fröehlich, passed from this world on Sunday, August 6, 2017 into God's Care.
A native of Bremerhaven, Germany, Inge grew up under Hitler's rule in World War II. She couldn't wait until she was old enough to come to America to become a proud United States citizen. She sang professionally in Germany before coming to America. Inge retired from Kroger on Hubbards Lane (the old store).
Inge was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geörge Fröehlich.
She is survived by four children, Mrs. Sonja Ridge,of Fisherville, KY, Mr. David Pickhart of Louisville, KY, Mr. Eric Pickhart (Teresa) of Sonora, KY and Mr. Brian Tribbey of Jacksonville, TX; and four grandchildren. Inge is also survived in Germany by her brother, Hans Geörge Fröehlich, of Berlin, Germany and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 11am-1pm at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with service at 1pm. Burial will follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
